Are you a visionary infrastructure architect with a passion for designing future-ready networks? We're looking for aSenior Infrastructure Architectto lead the development of high-level architecture and platform strategies across on-premise and cloud environments. This role is pivotal in shaping ournetwork strategy and roadmaps, driving innovation, and enabling seamless application delivery.

What You'll Do

• Provide consulting, guidance, and support for internal projects on how best to integrate with Optus's corporate network.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure delivery strategies, standards, and engineering guidelines.
• Lead architectural planning for existing and next-gen technologies across on-premise and public cloud.
• Ensure compliance and integration with enterprise architecture for infrastructure and hosting systems.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to deliver cost-effective, scalable solutions.
• Oversee the introduction of new technologies into production environments.
• Provide expert guidance to business and technical leaders on strategic projects.
• Collaborate globally to enhance capacity and communications capabilities.
• Solve medium-complex problems and advise engineering and operations teams.

Key Focus Areas

• Network Strategy & Roadmaps : Architect and evolve our network infrastructure to support future business needs.
• Cloud Integration : Design hybrid solutions leveraging Azure and AWS, with a strong focus on networking.
• Security & Perimeter Design : Manage DMZs, firewalls, and secure internet presence.

What You Bring

• Degree, technical diploma, or equivalent certification in IT or related field.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure within large corporate environments.
• Proven experience innetwork architecture, planning, and strategy development.
• Deep expertise in Cisco technologies (routing, switching, wireless).
• Strong knowledge of firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Experience designing complex networks across Public Clouds, Retail Offices, Corporate Offices, Data Centers, and DMZs.
• Skilled in MS Office and architecture tools.
• Experience supporting programs/projects including budgeting and estimation.
• Ability to analyse and present complex data clearly (e.g., financials, infrastructure spend).
