This role would suit a mid-senior Process Engineer with a strong technical background in Chemical/Process Engineering. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will:

• Provide expertise and manage process design through engineering phases from concept/select, FEED through to detailed design and delivery.
• Proactively communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage and track single-discipline projects.
• Write technical reports as required.
• Prepare proposals and tenders (hours estimation and scope definition) for new and ongoing works.
• QA role to other lead engineers.
• Provide technical guidance to develop junior engineers.
• Source new clients and leverage existing relationships to promote the Process offering and drive opportunities.

We are a values-driven team, looking for passionate and innovative people who continually deliver for each other and our clients. As a mid-senior Process Engineer, you will have:

• Process Engineering degree (or equivalent) with 6+ years process design experience in the Oil & Gas, and/or Future Fuels industries.
• CPEng or CEng/RPEQ registration.
• Excellent skills in using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, and DNV PHAST software.
• Sound knowledge of process safety including risk identification and assessment through HAZID/HAZOP, dispersion/radiation analysis, and hazardous area classification.
• Skills in preparing P&ID's, PFD's, heat and material balances, instruments and equipment data sheets, utilities flow diagrams, and chemical consumption/effluent summaries.
• Ability and experience in providing technical support through the full lifecycle of the projects, ranging from feasibility and concept select studies through to FEED, detailed design, and commissioning.
• Ability to be hands-on, flexible and work autonomously on multiple projects.
• A confident communicator and team player with the ability to drive projects and clients' success.
• Skills in tackling conflicting deadlines and manage them by prioritization.
• HAZOP / LOPA Facilitator experience and accreditation desirable, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with the relevant Australian and International Standards.
• A mix of consulting and operational experience would be an advantage.
