About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Strategy and Policy team in a 24-month fixed-term role.

The successful candidate will coordinate the WaterSmart program and assist with the delivery oversight of water efficiency programs within Greater Western Water.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Business Relationship Managers on outreach to GWW non-residential customers for the Water Smart program delivery
  • Coordinate the program management, governance, including monitoring and reporting
  • Investigate and develop new water efficiency guidance and approaches
  • Explore connections between water efficiency programs and drought planning
  • Collaborate with water corporations on WaterSmart and aligned water efficiency initiatives
  • Work with the internal team to develop communications and engagement approaches to maximise the program uptake
Requirements:
  • A good understanding of environmental, water resource, and water efficiency issues
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, influence, and engagement skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination activities or large programs of work in an agile and changing environment with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
