$85,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Peak Nano is seeking an automation engineer experienced in developing PLC code for new automated manufacturing cells. You'll be collaborating as part of our larger technology development group, comprised of our Software, IT, AI Dev, & Automation teams to deliver automated systems to support Peak's manufacturing scaling. The ideal candidate would describe themselves as a problem solver, analytical, fast paced, and detailed oriented.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in automation/electrical/computer/mechanical/software engineering, or equivalent
  • 5+ years in developing custom automation
  • Proficient with Structured Text/Function Block/Sequential Function Charts
  • Experience with controls hardware including sensors, remote IO, servos, safety devices, machine vision, barcode readers, HMI. etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in automation/electrical/computer/mechanical/software engineering, or equivalent
  • Secondary ecosystem - Productivity Suite/Automation Direct
  • Experienced in OOP (object-oriented programming)
  • Experienced in using git-based version control
