Overview

Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations, New Verticals – ANZ

DoorDash is looking for top talent to grow our New Verticals business in Australia and New Zealand. This role is in a fast-paced environment, focused on driving growth and improving order quality through data-driven strategies and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Improve quality across our merchants, identifying delivery and customer-experience gaps using data and consumer insights.
  • Define experiments and strategies to address gaps and drive continuous improvements (aiming for 1% better every day).
  • Turn strategies into initiatives; iterate rapidly to deliver better quality and impact.
  • Monitor trends and root-cause issues with SQL and analytics; develop action plans and roll out new product features to improve order quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, product, engineering, finance, analytics, and operations to scale New Verticals.
  • Own tracking dashboards and week-over-week metrics to drive high quality and execution.
  • Contribute to the development and scaling of DoorDash's next big initiatives, from high-level strategy to operational details.
  • Lead, collaborate, and influence cross-functional teams including growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product.
Qualifications
  • 2-3+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional environments (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related fields).
  • Self-starter with bias for action and ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments.
  • Problem solver who can translate high-level goals into actionable plans and implement processes.
  • Analytical thinker who uses data to inform decisions at both high and detailed levels.
  • Ownership mindset with accountability for outcomes and continuous improvement.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and startup-style adaptation.
