The remarkable achievements at this project have now sparked an increase in our operational demands, which has led us to recruiting another HST Advisor.

About The Position

You will collaborate, coach and partner with key stakeholders to achieve a physically and mentally safe working environment. Supporting and implementing health and safety programs and systems to ensure they are efficient and effective, meeting local regulatory requirements.

Your day-to-day activities will include but not limited to:

  • Support the implementation of departmental safety programs.
  • Monitor, review & analyse data.
  • Provide advice, information & build capability with employees across a range of health & safety programs.
  • Provide assistance & advise in risk management
  • Coordinate, support, lead & guide site supervisors, including WorkSafe (WA) notices.
  • Coordinate Audit requirements & ensure all matters are documented ensuring a high-quality data accuracy & managed in line with company policy.

What You Will Bring

  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • ICAM qualification
  • It is essential that you can haveprevious experience (3 years' experience) in a Health and Safety role on an operational mine site.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook & Word)
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations
