
Process Technician

The RoleReporting to the Production Team Leader, our Process Technicians ensure production quality, perform housekeeping duties, resolve problems, raise maintenance requests and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, while maintaining the highest possible safety environment.
You Will Also Be Responsible For- You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture
- Completing sampling on a daily basis or as required
- Following plant operational procedures to perform tasks in the plant
- Adherence to outstanding housekeeping standards audits and checks
- Attending and actively participating in all handover and pre-start meetings
- Successfully completing plant competencies in prescribed time
- Effective monitoring of plant conditions and process stability, reporting any faults to the Team Leader and the troubleshooting of any problems
- Ideally you will have experience as a Process Technician and exposure to process control in an industrial environment
- Flexible, conscientious, quality oriented and able to function effectively in a small, self-managed team environment
- Proactive and results-driven with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Ability to build strong working relationships with people at all levels
- Intermediate Boiler and Turbine ticket is essential; mechanical or educational aptitude to complete this training
- Computer literate; working knowledge of SAP advantageous
- Chemical processing plants
- Basic computer literacy in Word and Excel
- Skid steer loader and forklift tickets desirable
- EWP and Gantry Crane tickets desirable
- Excellent communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate Boiler and Turbine Ticket (desired)

Northern Australian Operations consists of an Ammonium Phosphate Mine and Processing Plant (Phosphate Hill) and Sulphuric Plant (Mt Isa) in North Queensland. The facilities comprise ammonia, beneficiation, phosphoric acid, granulation and sulphuric acid plants plus infrastructure, utilities, power generation and housing to support the permanent workforce.
