Autism Alliance is dedicated to supporting families and children living with autism. Emphasizing "Life through Learning," we encourage learning through positive reinforcement and personalized rewards. Our programs address core traits of autism such as communication, social interaction, and repetitive behaviors, while also tackling anxiety, sensory processing, and learning difficulties. We offer early learning programs to build foundational cognitive and social skills for younger children and life skills and social skills for older children through individual therapy and group sessions. By collaborating with schools and caregivers, we provide comprehensive support aimed at achieving the best outcomes for each child.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Speech Therapist based in Malaga, WA, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children with autism. Day-to-day tasks will include creating individualized therapy plans, conducting therapy sessions, and communicating progress to families and team members. Additional duties include working in collaboration with other professionals and caregivers to ensure holistic support and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications
  • Speech Therapy and Speech skills
  • Experience with Dysphagia and Communication Disorders
  • Knowledge of Language Disorders
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in working with children with autism is a plus
  • Relevant certification or degree in Speech-Language Pathology
