Your opportunity…

The Finance Business Analyst will support the Finance Business Partner team in maintaining data integrity, financial planning and analysis, and commercial decision support. The role focuses on operational performance and the financial sustainability of revenue-generating sites. The Analyst will conduct detailed site analysis, identify key drivers of financial performance, and communicate actionable insights to operations.

  • Support the Finance Business Partner team in ensuring data integrity, financial planning and analysis, and commercial decision support.
  • Ensure alignment with the strategic plan and a specific focus on operational performance and financial sustainability of revenue-generating sites.
  • Perform detailed site analysis and understand the key drivers of financial performance.
  • Communicate actionable insights to operations to drive business success.

What you need to be successful in this role…

  • Bachelor's level business management qualification and degree level accounting qualification are mandatory.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail.
  • Experience working with large scale ERPs, large data sets and BI tools (e.g., Power BI). Experience with MS Dynamics 365 valued.
  • Strong financial management/systems experience (3+ years) in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Membership of a recognised professional body within Australia (CA/CPA/CIMA) highly desirable though not essential.
