Overview

Temporary Physiotherapist - South/Western Sydney role at Empower Healthcare. The position focuses on delivering physiotherapy services to home care, NDIS and Residential Aged Care clients in South/Western Sydney. This is a temporary role within Empower Healthcare's community-based model.

The Position

As a Physiotherapist with Empower, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of Musculoskeletal, Neurological and Cardiorespiratory patients within community settings.

Responsibilities

Working in a supportive team environment, you will be responsible for the delivery of Empower Healthcare's comprehensive services across home care and NDIS clients and Residential Aged Care in South/Western Sydney. You will:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored physiotherapy treatment plans for clients in their own home through home care packages/NDIS.
  • Work holistically with other allied health professionals to provide a multidisciplinary care plan
  • Educate clients and their families to optimize their ability to live healthy lives within the community
  • Liaise with service providers to ensure effective communication
  • Work autonomously to prioritize and complete tasks, maintain records and provide patient reports

You will be provided with support from our home care team who will schedule these appointments and plan an efficient route.

  • Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Police Check Clearance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time-management skills and attention to detail
