About the role:

Beginning in February 2026, you'll embark on a transformative three-year journey, marked by hands-on learning, role rotations, comprehensive training, mentorship, and exclusive development prospects, shaping your career trajectory.

The Graduate Geoscientist will contribute to Origin's exploration and development activities by supporting the geoscience team through data analysis, modelling and interpretation. They will assist in identifying exploration opportunities, resource assessments, and ongoing subsurface evaluations and regulatory compliance across Origin's portfolio. You will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous learning while supporting the team to deliver on Origin's strategy and uphold our Values and Behaviours.

What you will bring

We're looking for curious and detail-oriented graduates with a background in Geoscience, Geology, or Earth Sciences.

  • Ideal candidates will be proactive, strong communicators, and collaborative team players who enjoy solving complex geological challenges.
  • You'll be eager to grow your technical expertise in subsurface analysis, contribute to exploration and development projects, and help shape Australia's energy future.
  • Graduate roles are based in Brisbane CBD.
  • You must hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency (PR) to be eligible for this opportunity and be available to start full-time work in February 2026.
