About the role:

Starting in February 2026, you'll begin a transformative three-year journey with hands-on learning, role rotations, comprehensive training, mentorship, and exclusive development opportunities to shape your career.

The Graduate Geoscientist will support Origin's exploration and development activities by assisting the geoscience team with data analysis, modelling, and interpretation. Responsibilities include identifying exploration opportunities, resource assessments, subsurface evaluations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across Origin's portfolio. A commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous learning is essential, supporting the team to deliver on Origin's strategy and uphold our Values and Behaviours.

What you will bring

We seek curious, detail-oriented graduates with a background in Geoscience, Geology, or Earth Sciences.

  • Proactive, strong communicators, and collaborative team players who enjoy solving complex geological challenges.
  • Eager to develop technical expertise in subsurface analysis and contribute to exploration and development projects to help shape Australia's energy future.
  • Roles are based in Brisbane CBD.
  • You must hold Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency (PR) and be available to start full-time in February 2026.
