Base pay range

A$100,000.00/yr - A$125,000.00/yr

This role requires Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency with an active Baseline Clearance. Candidates without citizenship or permanent residency need not apply.

About The Role

We are seeking a Technical Consultant to join us in any of our Australian Office in Canberra. As a member of the technical support team, you\'ll interact directly with the Federal Government Client and other members of the Datacom teams to support technology-based solutions. You\'ll be responsible for the support of Data Analytic Platforms, within the contracted time frames and service level agreements. This support will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required and participate in an on-call roster for after-hours support.

What You\'ll Do

As a Technical Consultant, this is an excellent technical opportunity, joining a fantastic team of peers with opportunity to take your career to new heights You will be part of our extensive Professional Services business who support each other working collaboratively across locations. You\'ll be providing technical maintenance, support services within agreed service levels along with maintaining technical documentation. You will also be using tools and processes to deliver services to customers to ensure their service level agreements are met, proactively managing their infrastructure and driving service process improvement.

What You\'ll Bring

To be successful in this role you\'ll bring at least 3 years\' experience as a System Administrator with Linux infrastructure and Cloud Computing.

Your technical experience should include:

• Experience across Linux operating systems
• Experience supporting Statistical Analysis System (SAS) software
• Database skills
• Networking skills
• Cloud computing and certification
• Python/R Programming, PowerShell scripting, Bash scripting

Your customer focus and communication skills will be a strength, along with an ability to develop and maintain productive internal and external relationships, partnerships and networks. We are keen to hear of your troubleshooting, problem-solving experience, your understanding of public cloud platforms and agile operations.
