What the day will look like

This role supports four Client Relationship Managers and new business insurance projects, predominantly in the energy/utilities sector.

You will be responsible for completing various client service support tasks for the Mergers & Acquisitions Due Diligence team.

Your day will be busy with a focus on client servicing which will be the key to your success

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administration support to our Account Brokers regarding client insurance/risk needs
  • Provide project management support for new business projects
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email and face-to-face meetings to support their insurance needs
  • Participate in insurance policy pre-renewal, renewal and post-renewal activities including drafting quotations and creating renewal reports
  • Prepare, lodge, and invoice insurance policies in an accurate and timely manner
  • Attend client meetings and work on tender processes, client renewals, claims and other insurance broking duties
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with Senior Brokers, Underwriters, Client Executives and Client Managers
  • Enhance the client experience through outstanding customer service

Skills and experience that will lead to success

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about a career in insurance and have strong administration, project management and customer service skills.

Our ideal candidate will relate to the following:

  • Experience supporting Senior Brokers with their client accounts (highly regarded)
  • Client service, underwriting, claims or insurance broking experience (highly regarded)
  • Experience across general insurance products (highly regarded)
  • Tier 1 insurance qualification (highly regarded) or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience with energy sector clients (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing conflicting priorities and working to tight deadlines
  • Project management experience
