Clinical Nurse Educator – Orientation and Cultural Support – Identified. As the Clinical Nurse Educator – Orientation and Cultural Support, you will shape a personalised journey of learning and connection, guiding staff through tailored orientation, cultural supervision, and meaningful engagement in celebrations, consultations, and community.
Remuneration: $109 684.57 - $113 243.15 Per annum + 12% Super + Salary Packaging. Employment Type: Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time. Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Educator. - Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander applicants must demonstrate Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander status in addition to addressing the selection criteria. This position is pivotal to support Indigenous staff and enhance culturally safe workplace practices.
- Deliver orientation programs at the beginning and end of each week, including staff rounding and dedicated cultural supervision.
- Engage in activities such as annual cultural celebrations, meetings, and consultation forums.
- Tailor each orientation program to meet the needs of the successful applicant, with ongoing cultural supervision and support to foster growth and connection.
- Support Indigenous staff and contribute to a culturally safe workplace within the hospital setting.

Requirements- Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
- Relevant post-registration clinical or education qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent (i.e. Enterprise Trainer Presenting Skill Set).
- Aboriginal descent through parentage and community acceptance as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander; this is a genuine occupational qualification under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 19.
- An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part-time and temporary vacancies.
