One vacancy is available, either ongoing or fixed for 18 months.
Primary Objective: Applies advanced nursing/midwifery knowledge, skills, attributes and abilities within a specified area of clinical practice in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, as well as with families, groups and communities. Provides a quality urban-based child, family and youth nursing service which incorporates Primary Health Care Principles and a family partnership approach. To maintain, facilitate and promote the physical, emotional and social health of families. While a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term.

Responsibilities- Provide a quality urban-based child, family and youth nursing service that incorporates Primary Health Care Principles and a family partnership approach.
- Apply advanced nursing/midwifery knowledge, skills, and professional abilities within a specified area of clinical practice in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, families, groups and communities.
- Maintain, facilitate and promote the physical, emotional and social health of families.
- Collaborate with primary health care teams to support families and communities in an urban context.
- Postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy; if not held, applicants may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term.
