Tax Accountant

Are you a motivated Tax Accountant looking for your next opportunity? We're currently working with multiple reputable public practice firms across Melbourne seeking Intermediate to Senior-level Tax Accountants to join their growing teams.
What You'll Be Doing:- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
- Completing BAS, IAS, FBT returns and financial statements
- Managing your own portfolio of clients and building strong professional relationships
- Advising clients on tax planning and compliance
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on client matters
- Reviewing work from junior staff (for senior-level candidates)
- Staying up to date with the latest tax legislation and accounting standards
- 3–7 years of experience in public practice tax accounting
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax compliance and financial reporting
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- CPA or CA qualified or working towards
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, HandiTax, QuickBooks is a plus
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
- Work in supportive, collaborative teams with real career growth opportunities
