PR & Communications Coordinator

As our PR & Communications Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping our voice, amplifying our advocacy, and ensuring our messaging cuts through.
What You'll Be Doing:- Writing compelling media releases, reports, and advocacy materials
- Managing media relations and pitching stories that matter
- Monitoring the news cycle and driving public conversations
- Collaborating with community leaders and policy teams to tell authentic stories
- Strengthening AbSec's presence across digital and traditional media
- 2+ years' experience in PR, media, or communications (bonus if it's in an Aboriginal, NFP, or government setting)
- A way with words—strong writing, editing, and content strategy skills
- Ability to turn complex policy into stories that resonate
- Experience in media relations and advocacy campaigns
