Draftsman - REVIT

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of professional experience in commercial architectural drafting and design within Australia. You must be highly proficient in Revit, as it is our primary drafting tool. We also require a strong background in structural drafting, particularly with steel structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop draft and detailed drawings, models, and technical plans for architectural and structural projects.
• Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to produce accurate and high-quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and client specifications.
• Revise and update drawings as required throughout project phases.
• Conduct site visits as necessary to assist with design coordination and modifications.
• Prepare construction phase drawings.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of working experience within Australia in architectural drafting or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Revit (priority requirement).
• Proficiency in additional industry-standard tools: AutoCAD.
• Experience with 3D rendering software (Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray) is advantageous.
• Structural drafting skills and the ability to interpret structural documentation are highly preferred.
• Structural drafting experience is an essential requirement for this role.
• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry regulations, especially accessibility.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
