Back End Developer (C# .Net)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and data-driven back-end developer to join our talented engineering team. You will work on our global racing product, a microservice-based distributed system used worldwide 24/7.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new C# RESTful Web APIs and microservices.
  • Maintain and improve existing C# RESTful Web APIs and microservices.
  • Continuously expand our suite of unit, integration, and acceptance tests.

NOTE: CODING TEST IS MANDATORY IN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS.

Essential skills & experience:

  • Strong C# skills with IoC/DI experience.
  • Web API, REST (.Net Framework, ASP.Net Core).
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with unit testing & mocking frameworks (e.g., NUnit, Moq, NSubstitute).
  • Working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server 2012+, Oracle, Postgres).

Desirable skills & experience:

  • Experience with Event Driven Architecture & messaging systems (e.g., Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ, MSMQ).
  • Knowledge of distributed caching solutions (Redis, Memcached, Couchbase).
  • Experience with ORM tools (EF6, EF Core, NHibernate).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jira, Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus).
    • Exposure to high-traffic/distributed systems.
    • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
    • Knowledge of .NET Core.
    • Understanding of SOA design and maintenance.
    • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
