Net)Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and data-driven back-end developer to join our growing team of talented engineers.
You'll be working on our global racing product, a microservice-based distributed system that is in use round the clock all over the world.
Key responsibilities: Design and build new C# RESTful Web APIs and microservices Maintain and enhance existing C# RESTful Web APIs and microservices Continuously add to suite of unit, integration and acceptance tests NOTE: CODING TEST IS A MANDATORY STEP IN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS.
Essential skills & required experience: Strong C# with Io C/DIMicro-services Unit Testing & mocking frameworks (nunit, Moq, NSubstitute or similar)Working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server 2012+/ Oracle / Postgres)Event Driven Architecture & messaging (Solace, Kafka, Rabbit MQ, Zero MQ, MSMQ)Distributed caching (Redis, Memcached, Couchbase)ORM experience (EF6, EF Core, NHibernate or similar)CI/CD - Continuous Delivery (Git, Jira, Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus)Exposure to high-traffic / distributed software systems Docker, Kubernetes or similar Exposure to SOA design and maintenance We are in a fantastic new office near Barangaroo, close to Wynyard station.
