Braemac seeks a commercially astute Production Manager to oversee our Production Facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the assembly of high-quality electronics and cables.
  • Plan production schedules, manage staff, monitor quality control and optimize production processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent service levels, high-quality products, and profitability.
Accountabilities
  • Develop and manage a productive team by hiring qualified personnel, providing clear instructions and guidance, coaching, and implementing performance management if required.
  • Create detailed production plans, including workforce allocation, material requirements, and production timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Direct daily activities to ensure excellent service levels, low transactional cost, superior quality levels while ensuring safety, security, and housekeeping objectives are achieved.
  • Evaluate and implement quality and productivity metrics to continuously improve performance.
  • Effectively perform administrative tasks, including resource allocation, RDO roster management, skills assessments, performance reviews, merit increases, and corrective action documents.
  • Manage marketing activities to communicate the capabilities of the Braemac Production Facility to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams, Procurement, and other relevant teams to provide timely and competitive quotes without compromising overall profitability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five to seven years of supervisory or management experience in a production facility preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Business, managerial, and leadership skills to accomplish production facility objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to develop and implement corrective actions where needed.
  • Teamwork skills to encourage cooperation within the production facility, sales teams, warehouse, and other internal stakeholders throughout Braemac.

An Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident is required for consideration.
