Marketing, Events & Member Engagement Officer – Energy West Social Club

Energy West Social Club is a not-for-profit, industry-based organisation with over 2,700 members. Based in Perth CBD, the Club exists to create memorable experiences through curated events, member benefits, and meaningful connections. A small and passionate team drives its mission to bring people together. The Club is now recruiting a full-time Marketing, Events & Member Engagement Officer to shape and deliver marketing campaigns and community-focused initiatives.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, this position involves:

Creating marketing campaigns to boost member engagement and value

Translating member feedback into campaigns, services, and events

Managing digital content across the website, social media, and newsletters

Coordinating the delivery of events and member benefits

Maintaining consistent and effective communication with members

Supporting membership operations including applications, renewals, and enquiries

Collaborating across the team to align services with member needs

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

Have experience in marketing, events, communications, or brand engagement

Be confident using data or insights to guide campaigns

Demonstrate skills in social media, Canva, and Microsoft Office

Have a background in customer service, ideally in a community setting

Be organised, creative, and an excellent communicator

Work well in a collaborative, close-knit team environment

Additional Info

Salary range: $75,000–$80,000 depending on experience

Hybrid working: 3 days in Perth CBD office, 2 days from home

Flexible hours and potential 9-day fortnight available

Central CBD location with supportive team culture
