What You'll Be DoingThe Enrolled Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse to provide person-centered care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team to achieve people-focused quality care.
Selection Criteria- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Ability to practice nursing in a manner that respects the rights of individuals within a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective clinical communication using information technology and strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills; able to identify and resolve conflicts calmly and professionally.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and sharing expertise with colleagues.
- Knowledge of and ability to work within a person-centered approach to nursing and a willingness to adapt to changes in care delivery.
- Understanding of quality improvement and evidence-based practice with recent clinical experience relevant to the position.
Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination (OASV) This is a Category A position. NSW Health policy directive PD2024_015 applies. All new employees must comply with the OASV requirements, including proof of influenza vaccination for NSW staff entering Residential Aged Care Facilities or working in NSW Health owned RACFs.
Australian Work Rights Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or able to legally live and work in Australia with a valid Temporary Visa. More information may be required to confirm eligibility.
