Overview

We're looking for a lead project manager to drive construction delivery and completion for the redevelopment of Homes Victoria high-rise tower sites in line with the Government's Housing Statement. The role provides proactive project management leadership for Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, oversees consultancies and contractors, and coordinates with key stakeholders including Councils and authorities to progress design and delivery works. Responsibilities include procurement coordination, budget and cash flow management, contract administration, stakeholder management, reporting, and risk/issues management.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including project development and delivery, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of reports, internal and ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions.
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to support a partnership approach.
  • Develop, implement and maintain efficient project administration systems including document tracking and control, and proactively create and implement new systems to streamline processes as required.
Qualifications / Skills
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in a similar role, including delivery of large-scale residential projects; high attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in Private Public Partnership (PPP) is preferable.
  • Strong procurement and delivery knowledge for the full lifecycle of projects including transaction, design, planning, delivery, completion and transition to operations. Sound understanding of contract management, construction contracts, contract administration processes and project completion processes.
