ResponsibilitiesThe Assembler Role
This role involves building conveyor products using blueprints and hand tools.
- Perform assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions.
- Follow supervisors' instructions for work to be performed.
- Inspect work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Record assembly status on computer.
- FOLLOW SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES.
- Work overtime and assigned shifts as needed.
- Adhere to all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience required.
- Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and assembly drawings necessary.
- BASIC COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED.
- BASIC MATH SKILLS NEEDED.
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools essential.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques required.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual needed.
- Team-oriented mindset required.
- Crane operation experience preferred but not required.
- Forklift operation experience preferred but not required.
