Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Assembler uses blueprints and hand tools to build conveyor products.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Performing assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions
2. Following supervisors' instructions of work to be performed
3. Self-inspecting work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
4. Using computer to record assembly status
5. Following safety instructions and rules
6. Working overtime and assigned shifts as needed
7. Complying with all requirements of Daifuku's QMS policies and procedures
8. Ensuring sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred
2. Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience
3. Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and assembly drawings
4. Basic computer knowledge
5. Basic math skills
6. Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
7. Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
8. Self-motivated and detail-oriented
9. Team-oriented
10. Crane operation experience preferred but not required
11. Forklift operation experience preferred but not required
