About the role

We're looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking IT Manager to lead and evolve our technology operations across Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia.

In this role, you'll oversee IT support, infrastructure, security and internal systems across the region—working both hands-on and leading a small IT team to ensure everything runs smoothly, securely and scales with us.

You will be responsible for managing and enhancing a diverse technology ecosystem, spanning Okta, JamF, AWS infrastructure, physical networks, domain services, FreshDesk and custom-built technologies that support our client and agency creative and production operations.

You'll be responsible for day-to-day operational excellence while collaborating closely with business and technology leadership to align IT services with agency goals, drive innovation and deliver measurable improvements to system performance and service delivery.

You'll be responsible for

Reporting to the Director of Technology, some (but not all) of the role's responsibilities include:

• Lead a small, regional IT team across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, and India.
• Oversee and optimise core technology platforms, including Okta, JamF, AWS infrastructure, FreshDesk, and bespoke internal applications supporting creative and production workflows.
• Manage and maintain physical network infrastructure across all offices, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability to meet business needs.
• Administer domain services and DNS management, ensuring seamless integration, performance, and compliance with security standards.
• Plan, prioritise and coordinate team activities to ensure the timely delivery and implementation of IT solutions.
• Manage escalations and provide hands-on support across technology platforms as needed.
• Implement and monitor performance measures for infrastructure, support services and key technology systems.
• Ensure all systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with global IT standards and agency objectives.
• Report regularly to the executive team on IT performance, project progress, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and proactive service delivery within the IT team.

Experience, skills, and expertise We are looking for someone who:

• 10+ years in IT leadership, with at least 3 years in a senior regional or multi-market role.
• Proven experience overseeing IT operations across the APAC region.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, endpoint support, and cybersecurity.
• Demonstrated success in managing technology teams focused on performance, user support, and innovation.
• Experience in systems integration, enterprise architecture, or solution design.
• Familiarity with service delivery and project methodologies (e.g., ITIL, Agile).
• Ability to align technology strategy with business needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Comfortable operating across time zones and within a global technology function.

• Reviewed internal programs and initiatives to assess Q1 progress and define strategic focus areas for Q2.
• Provided hands-on support and guidance to the IT team in resolving both immediate client issues and longer-term agency-wide challenges.
• Authored and updated critical documentation across systems architecture, infrastructure protocols, and internal workflows.
• Translated complex technical concepts into accessible insights, enabling Account Managers to confidently engage in upcoming client meetings.
• Delivered performance reporting on internal technology health and the impact of our Support team—highlighting value creation and operational efficiency.
