Residential Care - Experienced Active Night Worker Wonthaggi, Mornington Peninsula and Bass Coast

Responsibilities- Provide active support to young people, staff members and placements between 11:30pm-8:30am.
- Provide a safe environment, travel assistance and support, complete administration tasks, manage crisis situations calmly and confidently, and maintain a clean and tidy home.
- Build positive relationships with young people and team members; follow routines; transport to school, day programs and appointments; participate in activities and meals; implement programs for growth and development; complete summary notes; help create a safe, homely living environment.
- Current Working with Children Check (paid employment)
- Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; HLTAID003)
- National Police Check (via Employment Screening Group)
- International Police Check if applicable (12 months+ in another country within last 10 years)
- Current driver's licence
- Willingness to participate in Worker/Carer Exclusion Scheme Check
- Current NDIS Worker Check (via Vic service site)
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention; or a recognised relevant qualification
- Three mandatory units of competency: CHCMHS007; CHCPRT009; CHCCCS009
- Allambi Care can facilitate obtaining the units within the first 3 months via partnered RTO BIAE (RTO no 45241)
- Paid induction
- Weekend penalty rates
- Night shifts from 11pm to 8:30am
- Schads award pay level: Level 3.1 when qualified or Level 2.1 if unqualified
- Annual wage increases in line with Schads award CPI
- Supportive team including Therapeutic Specialists, Case Coordinators and an Education Specialist
- Supervision support and access to a free Employee Assistance Program
- Paid Therapeutic Crisis Intervention Training and Needs-Based Framework Training
