ANZUK Executive invites applications for the position of Head of Faculty - Business, Economics and Enterprise at St Hilda's School, an independent Anglican day and boarding school for girls from Pre-Prep to Year 12. Position Purpose

The Head of Faculty – Business, Economics and Enterprise is responsible for leading a high-performing team across the subject areas of Business, Economics, Accounting, and Enterprise. This leadership position plays a critical role in ensuring a rich, rigorous, and inspiring academic experience for students, and in fostering innovation and continuous improvement across curriculum, teaching, and learning.

Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will shape the strategic direction of the faculty, support staff development, promote a culture of evidence-based practice, and build strong industry and tertiary connections to enrich student opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the vision and strategic direction of the Faculty in alignment with the School's goals
• Provide strong curriculum, pedagogical, administrative, and staff leadership
• Oversee planning, delivery, and assessment across all subject areas
• Use data to monitor performance and implement continuous improvement strategies
• Mentor and professionally develop faculty staff
• Manage budgets and resources efficiently
• Build partnerships with industry, universities, and external stakeholders
• Foster a positive and future-focused learning culture
• Work collaboratively with Executive and School leaders to uphold the school's strategic vision

About You

We are seeking a relational, data-informed, and forward-thinking leader with a strong background in Business, Economics, Accounting, and Enterprise. You will demonstrate:

• A teaching qualification in a relevant discipline
• Proven leadership experience in an educational setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and inspire others
• A commitment to innovation, continuous improvement, and academic excellence
• Experience building meaningful partnerships with industry and higher education

Essential

• Queensland College of Teachers registration (or eligibility to obtain)
• Willingness to be submitted to the Anglican Church's Professional Standards Register
• Alignment with the values and Anglican ethos of the School
