About the role

We have an exciting newlyestablished opportunity for a Scheduler to join our dynamic growing team.

Reporting to the Operations Centre Supervisor you will beresponsible for coordinating and managing flight & maintenance crew rostersby collaborating with various departments to achieve optimal operationalefficiency, regulatory compliance, and seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities of the roleinclude:

• Collaborateeffectively with the Flight Operations and Maintenance Teams to ensure rostersaccurately reflect resource needs and meet client requirements.
• Manageand coordinate staff rosters for all bases within Air Maestro in accordancewith the FRMS, EBA and contractually operational requirements.
• Ensurethe roster is completed and available to staff in a timely manner that meetsany EBA requirements.
• Liaisewith Pilots, Engineers and Tech Crew regarding changes and updates to theroster.
• Collaboratewith Flight Operations, Maintenance and Travel to avoid roster conflicts withtraining and simulator sessions.
• Obtainapproval from Head of Flights Ops (Chief Pilot) and Director of Technicalregarding significant changes to rosters, potential gaps and changes incurringadditional costs such as but not limited to Overtime.
• MaintainAir Maestro to ensure that Pilots, Engineers and Tech crew details are currentand all qualifications are monitored to remain within currency periods.
• Managingand uploading required documentation.
• Identifyimprovements in roster/scheduling processes, in collaboration with the BCM'sand SBE's/SBP's and implement changes as required.
• Supportthe travel and accommodation requirements for Pilots, Engineers and Tech Crewto meet EBA and Company guidelines including relocation.
• Generateand maintain audit-ready records for aviation authorities.
  

To be considered for this role,you will need:

• Acertificate or tertiary qualification in Training Coordination or a relatedfield (highly desirable but not essential).
• Demonstratedexperience in management and coordination of training.
• Knowledgeablein Pilot and Engineering qualifications and aircraft airworthiness standards ascontained in PHI's Flight Operations Manual.
• Experienceworking in a fast-paced operational/customer service environment within anAviation, Emergency Service, Defence, Mining, or Oil and Gas field or similar.
• Familiaritywith IT systems – Workday, Air Maestro, RAMCO, Coruson, SharePoint or similar.
• Highproficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Experienceworking in rotary-wing operational environment (highly desirable but notessential).
• Maintainthe confidentiality of information and protection of information according toprivacy agreements.

• Strongmultitasking and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise tasksto ensure effective sequence of operational activities.
• Maintainingfocus and accuracy to ensure all staff including pilots and engineers are'current' to perform their tasks.
• Proactive andself-motivated, with the ability to anticipate needs, take initiative, and takeownership of tasks without requiring direction.
• Proven abilityto communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with staff and clients,while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in high-tempo situations.
