We are seeking a Superstar Scheduler to join our team and help ensure the efficient and effective allocation of services to our Community Support Workers for our Clients living with Neurological conditions, such as MS, Parkinson's, Huntington's, Motor Neuron Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Stroke.
As a Scheduler, each day is a dynamic blend of coordination, collaboration, and problem-solving. You start your day by reviewing the day's roster, ensuring that every client is matched with the right Community Support Worker (CSW) based on skill set, availability, and location. You work closely with Community Team Leaders to fine-tune schedules, aiming to minimise travel time and maximise service quality.
Throughout the day, you're the go-to person for rostering exemptions and last-minute changes. Whether it's a sudden shift in client needs or a CSW calling in sick, you respond swiftly and strategically to maintain continuity of care and ensure our staff are supported with rosters that are full and efficiently planned.
In between tasks, you champion MSWA's values, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. By the end of the day, you've not only ensured seamless service delivery but also been part of a supportive team environment, sharing insights and backing up colleagues when needed.
This role is offered on casual basis, working from our Rivervale Office.
Availability is required to undertake a negotiated 7.5hr shift between 5:30am and 9:00pm between Monday - Sunday.
Our 'must' Haves
- Demonstrated experience with rostering and allocation of shifts.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in using MS Office Suite programs and CRM software packages.
- Demonstrated high-level administration skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
- Professional phone manner and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- A genuine passion to make a difference.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain.)
- Certificate IV in Disability/Aged Care or equivalent qualifications
- Previous experience preferably in the disability/aged care sector.
- Knowledge of the NDIS and/or HCP systems and processes.
We exist to make a real and lasting difference to the lives of Western Australians - whatever their needs, whatever their neuro condition. The difference each and every one of our team makes can be felt in thousands of homes across the state.
Our collective efforts enable us to continue meeting the ever-growing demand for our allied health services, accommodation, and Service Centres across the state, as well as our contributions to critical neuro research throughout the world, across the country and importantly right here in Western Australia.
Let us tell you a little about what you'll get in return for joining our team:
- Salary Packaging: Use some of your salary to pay for everyday expenses before income tax.
- Growth Opportunities: A career that helps you grow via structured training (that we will pay for) makes a big difference.
- Exclusive Discounts: Enjoy savings on a wide range of local and national brands.
- Health and Wellbeing Perks: Benefit from our comprehensive Employee Assistance Program and substantial healthcare provider discounts.
