Vetafarm Australia is seeking Plant Operators to join our award-winning team Become part of a dedicated group producing specialised animal diets through the extrusion process at our Feedsafe-accredited manufacturing facility in Bomen, NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safe and efficient operation of the extrusion plant and associated machinery.
  • Assist with machinery maintenance and troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns.
  • Accurate weighing and measuring of ingredients.
  • Accurate completion of production records.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes.
  • Perform regular cleaning of equipment and work area.
  • Work efficiently and safely as part of a cohesive team.
About You / Qualifications
  • Reliable, punctual, and available to work Monday to Wednesday (3x 12-hour shifts).
  • Good physical fitness with safe manual handling skills, and the ability to repetitively lift up to 25kg (a pre-employment medical must be completed as part of the recruitment process).
  • Mechanically minded with demonstrated experience operating machinery.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible team player with good communication skills and a can-do attitude.
  • Commitment to the highest quality product output while adhering to FeedSafe requirements.
  • Shows initiative and has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must have a current driver\'s licence and reliable transportation.
  • A current forklift licence is preferred.
