The role
The primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery of national physical injury claims and customer programs across the business units and all products and services within the Personal Injury division.
Main responsibilities
- Support and lead the development and execution of national physical injury claims initiatives across the Personal Injury business, collaborating with all business units to deliver innovative programs for injury management and prevention at various levels.
- Develop, manage, and evaluate strategic programs and services aimed at reducing the impact of workplace and motor accident injuries, while addressing industry and customer needs through thought leadership and practical resources.
- Drive project success by leading collaborative efforts with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring deliverables are met within scope and timeframes, and promoting strategic utilization of programs across the business.
- Track and report outcomes of initiatives related to claims, customer, and employee impacts, linking data to Profit and Loss (P&L) and contract measures, and providing routine updates to Regulators.
- Develop and facilitate training on best practices in injury prevention and management, engage with stakeholders to ensure best-in-class risk prevention, and articulate the value of Allianz initiatives to enhance marketing and tender efforts.
About you
- Possess tertiary qualifications in an allied health field, with expertise in physiotherapy, exercise physiology, or occupational therapy being highly desirable.
- Have substantial experience in consultancy, provider management, project management, or specialist roles within the personal injury and/or occupational rehabilitation sectors.
- Demonstrated ability in managing projects and programs from start to finish, utilizing strategic direction and objectives to guide specific works and initiatives effectively.
- Skilled in developing and facilitating both internal and external training sessions, with experience presenting at an industry level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing audiences at all levels, along with proven ability to lead, coach, and build professional relationships to enhance industry positioning and stakeholder management.
