We're looking for enthusiastic, professional and flexible individuals to be part of the team delivering the iconic Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington Place.

We're Hiring

This is a unique role that will have a deep impact across the business. It will require your knowledge and experience across talent acquisition, talent succession and development and core capability development.

The Details

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies supporting the attraction and selection top talent.
  • Design and execute training and development programs to build core capabilities required to deliver upon our strategy.
  • Future proof the organisation's capability through succession planning and talent management.
  • A strategic partner to business functions that will drive performance, lead through change and build inspired and engaged teams.

What We're Looking For

This role will be part of a small team that has the opportunity to make a big difference. It will require someone who has broad experience across talent, OD and generalist roles. We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a passion for creating organisational change through the development and delivery of organisational people programs.
  • Has experience defining an Employee Value Proposition and Brand and bringing this to life.
  • Enjoys driving change and is experienced in transforming talent acquisition and development practices that enable business to deliver on their strategy.
  • Cares more about getting to the right outcome, and less about what's in the job description
  • Has strong stakeholder engagement, well established communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A continuous improvement mindset that likes to apply their creative skills.
  • Digital fluency and experience in leveraging systems to create efficiencies.
