We are seeking a dynamic Category Manager - IT Procurement to drive our supply and service strategies to new heights. What You'll Be Doing

As the Category Manager – IT Procurement you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our IT procurement processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with IT stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
• Managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier performance evaluation.
• Lead high-value negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions for IT procurement activities.
• Conducting market research to identify potential vendors and technologies, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
• Ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency in procurement activities while maintaining quality standards.
• Foster and manage strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring alignment with Kmart's values and expectations.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
• Staying abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in IT procurement practices.
  
  

To be successful in this role you'll have:

• Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on IT goods and services, preferably in a retail or similar fast-paced environment
• Extensive experience in IT procurement, with a deep understanding of market trends, technologies, and supplier landscapes.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead high-value negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make informed decisions and optimize procurement processes.
