Graduate GIS Analyst role supporting GIS project development, spatial analysis, and data management at a leading national risk management consultancy.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct spatial analysis, mapping, and modelling to meet environmental and regulatory requirements.
  • Support data collection in the field and integrate results into GIS systems.
  • Analyse and interpret geospatial data for site assessments, producing clear, actionable reports.
  • Maintain and update GIS databases, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and currency of all datasets.
  • Create high-quality maps and visual presentations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams and clients, providing GIS and data management expertise and insight.
  • Respond to mapping requests and ensure GIS data quality.
About You

What you\'ll need:

  • A recent or soon-to-be graduate with a degree in Geomatics, GIS, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of ESRI Suite and QGIS.
  • Skills in spatial analysis, data management, and cartography.
  • Familiarity with ESDAT and environmental data management.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid authority to work in Australia.
  • Availability to start late 2025 or early 2026.
