Paint Store Manager - Sunshine Coast QLD

Inspirations Paint is Australia's leading Paint Specialists Franchise Group, servicing both the retail and trade markets. A permanent full-time position is currently available for a Paint Store Manager for the Sunshine Coast stores, located at Noosa, Nambour, Currimundi, and Beerwah.

Previous experience within the paint industry is preferred, as the paint industry is specialized, and we pride ourselves on providing accurate and professional advice to our customers, both trade and retail.

The current hands-on position is available for immediate start for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a proven track record managing staff, generating sales, and building customer relationships. You must be genuinely interested in people and their projects, with a strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills.

In return, you will receive a competitive above Award Salary, ongoing training, and uniform. The stores are open from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday, and 7:30 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Day-to-day management, coaching, and motivating staff to meet KPIs
  2. Driving sales results by building strong customer relationships
  3. Providing exceptional customer service and accurate advice to both retail and trade customers
  4. Tinting and mixing paint, colour advice, and matching
  5. Managing inventory and stock levels within the store
  6. Store presentation and housekeeping
  7. Workplace Health and Safety leadership

Experience / Attributes:

  • Experience in trade and/or retail paint sales with a paint specialist or in a hardware environment is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead high-performing staff
  • Honest, reliable, and punctual
  • Able to problem-solve and use lateral thinking
  • Able to contribute and lead while working in a team environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to assist in all areas of business
  • This role requires heavy lifting up to 25kg
