Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and building high-performing teams? We're looking for an experienced DC Manager to take charge of a busy warehouse operation and lead a thriving team toward success.

About the Role

As the DC Manager, you'll oversee and drive the daily operations of a large-scale facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless flow of goods through receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will play a key role in maintaining safety, improving operational efficiencies, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end DC activities, including online fulfillment, click-and-collect, and returns.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through stocktakes and cycle counts while ensuring stock integrity.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 20+ staff, fostering a safe and productive work environment.
  • Drive operational standards, implement best practices, and monitor performance against KPIs.
  • Develop and manage work rosters, ensuring labour hire and operational costs remain within budget.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers, freight companies, and customers.
  • Oversee warehouse layout design to optimise space utilisation and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while promoting a culture of safety excellence.

About You

We're looking for a strategic, resilient, and hands-on leader with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in distribution or warehouse management, including supervisory roles.

Skills & Expertise

  • Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of DC operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for team development.
  • Proficiency in Google Office apps (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is highly regarded.

Physical Demands

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
