About the role

RYAN AEROSPACE is an innovative, dynamic, international award winning business. We build flight simulators for world's biggest military organisations and we're looking for a like-minded and skilled warehouse manager / technician to join our team on the Gold Coast.

The successful applicant will be a motivated, creative and hardworking individual who likes to work as part of a team. In this role, you will play a central part in the production of flight simulator components and full systems for our business and defence clients.

About the role

The role will be varied and you will need the ability to:

  • Use handheld power tools, spanners, screwdrivers etc. in the assembly process
  • Develop technical / assembly documents
  • Follow instructions contained in technical / assembly documents
  • Solve technical problems
  • Understand and interprete electrical diagrams
  • Crimp and / or solder small cables, pins and wiring looms
  • Work within a quality control environment (ISO 9001)
  • Take pride in the day-to-day organisation and maintenance of the warehouse
  • Work with PC's and simulation software (setting up, maintaining, troubleshooting)
  • Provide some supervision to other warehouse employees

  • High level of dexterity and technical acumen
  • Problem solver. Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think laterally
  • Positive energy and personable
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Strong oral and written skills. Ability to follow written instructions and in some cases, prepare them using Microsoft Word
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate and communicate ideas
