Contract: Full time, 6 months with potential for permanency

Hourly rate: $35 - $37 per hour

We're seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join a leading organisation in the construction materials sector. This is a fast-paced, full-function AP role where you'll take ownership of your accounts and play a key role in keeping a busy finance team running smoothly.

The Role:

  • Full end-to-end accounts payable, including 3-way matching to POs and receipting
  • Processing invoices using SAP with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), KOFAX OCR, and standard Microsoft applications
  • Liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure timely payments
  • Supporting a paperless, systemised, semi-automated AP function
  • Initial 6-month contract, with the potential for permanency (not guaranteed)

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong accounts payable background with proven full-function capability
  • Solid experience with 3-way PO matching and receipting
  • Previous exposure to SAP (VIM), KOFAX OCR, or similar systems highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
  • Full-time availability (38 hours per week) at our Silverwater office
