Overview

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Principal Transport Engineer. This is a senior, full-time role focused on providing expert engineering input into transport infrastructure projects to meet community needs, delivering concept designs, briefs, and project coordination for capital works.

Base pay range: A$112,000.00/yr – A$150,000.00/yr.

What you'll do
  • Provide expert advice grounded in best-practice transport design, standards, and Council policies.
  • Assist in developing concept designs that respond to real user needs.
  • Prepare and review detailed design briefs to guide internal and external teams.
  • Collaborate across the team, coach and support other teammates, and manage time and stakeholder communications.
  • Review civil engineering design plans to ensure compliance with relevant standards, ensuring value for money for the community.
  • Certify engineering designs as an expert in your field.
About you / Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain within the first 12 months of employment.
  • Current "C" Class Driver's Licence.
