Right now, we have a full-time Pavement Engineer role in our Smarter, Safer Infrastructure team, based at our Brisbane office located in the heart of Fortitude Valley. Come join us and play a key role in shaping the future of transport innovation

Main duties of the role

• Develop innovative solutions that deliver measurable, real-world benefits to our community
• Collaborate closely with diverse teams—including Sustainability and Asset Management—to ensure a comprehensive, holistic approach to pavement design, construction, and management
• Apply your sharp analytical and problem-solving skills to design and oversee laboratory studies and field trials, interpreting results with precision to drive smarter, data-informed decisions
• Leverage your professional network to uncover and create new opportunities, strengthening sustainable resilience across the transportation industry
  
  

Principal Level

• Civil Engineering Degree, Masters Degree, (a higher Research Degree is desirable but not essential)
• Up to 10 years of experience within the transport industry including consultancy or local government and transport agencies
• Be a source of technical knowledge in pavement management and pavement engineering
• Undertake research projects for international, national, state, and local road agencies
• Demonstratable experience in unsealed roads and/ or specialised pavement materials skills desirable
• Identify gaps, develop proposals, secure and grow ongoing work opportunities whilst utilising pavement technical knowledge
• Excellent project management skills
