Village National Group supplies accommodation to some of the world's most recognised Resources and Energy Companies throughout Australia. Village National provides fixed and mobile accommodation and management solutions across some of Australia's most remote locations.

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented part-time Recruitment Officer to oversee the end-to-end recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of recruitment strategies, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping others find the right job fit.

This role is a part-time position, ideally working 4 or 5 days per week, for 5 or 4 hours equaling 20-hour weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent across various industries.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates' qualifications.
  • Manage the candidate experience from initial contact to offer acceptance.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and maintain clear communication with candidates.
  • Assist in developing job descriptions and advertisements that accurately reflect the roles and responsibilities.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of candidates for current and future job openings.
Qualifications:
  • Ideally you will have completed, or currently be completing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of 1-2 years in recruitment or talent acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations is a plus.
