Beecham Motors is seeking an experienced Financial Controller or Accountant to join our friendly team, who wants to be rewarded for their hard work, industry experience, and excellent customer service.

Reporting directly to the Dealer Principal, you will effectively oversee and manage the financial wellbeing of the business. As a key member within the business, you will be jointly responsible for the direct management and mentorship of our finance and administration team. You will be responsible for building strong working relationships across the business and will partner closely with the Owner, Dealer Principal, and Department Managers.

The role comes with a good remuneration package, every Public Holiday off, Weekday Hours are 8AM to 5PM, uniforms included, and a fully maintained company vehicle.

We are a second-generation family owned and operated Nissan, Suzuki, Renault, and Used car dealership, located in Caboolture just a short drive north of Brisbane. Our dealership has been in operation for 38 years, values a strong sense of family, and employs around 30 great local people in the Sales, Service, Parts and Finance divisions. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing valuable insights to drive the dealership's growth and success.

Your Key Responsibilities include:

Financial Management: Oversee all financial aspects of the Dealership, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support day-to-day operations effectively.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the administration team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the dealership's goals.

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain customer relationships.

Great interpersonal and communication skills.

Positive attitude, motivation, and attention to detail.

Self-motivated and driven to succeed

Professional appearance & punctual.

Willingness to learn and work with Dealer Principal and staff as needed.

Passion for the Automotive Industry.

Key requirements:

Tertiary education in Accounting (or equivalent experience)

Demonstrated experience within a similar function

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum of 1 year of automotive industry experience is required
