We have been awarded a new water contract to provide service excellence across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams as part of the Seqwater network.

About the Role

The Mechanical Trades role involves delivering workorders, including fault finding, repairs, servicing, and renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.

Candidates must undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform and deliver allocated Mechanical workorders from the maintenance plan.
  • Service, repair, and inspect mechanical assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes, and winches.
  • Complete administrative tasks and document work progress in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Travel to relevant assets across the network, including attendance at pre-start meetings.
  • Maintain adherence to safety, compliance, policy, and procedures.
  • Report activities related to works planned, completed, risks, and issues, focusing on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience in Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networks.
  • Experience in servicing technical mechanical assets, including actuators, gearboxes, and pumps.
  • A current C Class Driver Licence.
  • A Trade Mechanical certificate.
  • Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity).
  • Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity).
  • Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity).
  • Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205, MSMPER200 (3-year validity).
  • Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity).
