Production Operator – Cheese Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Operator to join our cheese manufacturing team in Dandenong South.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a fast-paced food processing environment. As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in converting raw materials into high-quality cheese products using specialized machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and maintain the quality and consistency of cheese products to meet industry standards.
  • Determine production volumes to ensure efficient supply chain management.
  • Manage inventory control to optimize stock levels.
  • Maintain adherence to HACCP requirements and safety protocols.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Clean and maintain equipment to prevent contamination.
  • Develop ongoing cheese-making skills through training and development programs.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in the dairy or food processing industry.
  • A qualification in Food Processing (desirable but not essential).
  • Physical fitness to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work shift work, overtime, and weekends as required.
  • Reliable transportation to site.
