
Customer Care Consultant

Join to apply for the Customer Care Consultant role at Bendigo Advertiser. This role is based in Newcastle or Central Coast hubs and involves working in a dynamic contact centre environment.
The role involves handling member inquiries, providing solutions, updating records and transitioning to the next interaction to ensure every customer receives the support they need. Training is provided to equip you with the right skills and knowledge, and you will be supported by experienced Leaders.
Responsibilities- Answer up to 40 calls per shift in a fast-paced, structured contact centre
- Resolve inquiries and problems, provide solutions and guidance to members
- Update member records and smoothly transition to the next interaction
- Deliver high-quality service that fosters member health journeys
- Participate in training and work with a supportive team and leaders
- Confident computer skills and ability to multi-task while speaking with members
- Ability to work in a structured and busy environment
- Previous experience in customer service with a track record of delivering exceptional outcomes
- Enjoy interacting with customers over the phone
- Willingness to learn and adopt new skills
- Motivated to achieve set goals and KPIs
- Flexible and positive work attitude
- Roster: rotating roster from Monday to Friday, 7.6 hour shifts between 8:00am and 5:30pm (examples: start 8:00am–9:30am, finish 4:00pm–5:30pm)
- Assessment Centre: invited if selected to progress; includes group activity, short interview and role play (in Newcastle hub)
- Start date: 13 October 2025 with a four-week training program at the Newcastle office
