This reputable major bank is highly regarded and is a great opportunity for an experienced commercial or institutional banker or relationship manager with strong experience managing a diversified portfolio to join and nurture an existing portfolio and work alongside a well-respected and collaborative team within the commercial/corporate segment.

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing existing and key customer groups and businesses and new-to-bank opportunities and supporting bank driven initiatives and providing excellent customer satisfaction and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Developing, onboarding and originating new-to-bank opportunities
  2. Managing key existing business customers within the current portfolio
  3. Adhering to bank compliance and lending regulations as required
  4. Submitting and preparing credit proposals
  5. Support the wider team with relevant coaching and mentoring
  6. Assist in achieving all relevant sales targets and team goals

Skills and Experience required:

  1. 5+ years' experience within a relationship management or business development role within a similar bank environment within the commercial or institutional segment
  2. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  3. Solid financial acumen and credit writing skills
