About the Role

We seek a highly motivated individual to join our passionate team. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing tasks relevant to the shift, including specimen reception, registration, and data entry
  • Managing slide and block storage, filing, and printing
  • Cleaning equipment such as biohazard cabinets, centrifuges, and workbenches
  • Maintaining quality standards by adhering to departmental procedures
  • Complying with OH&S policies to ensure safety
  • Providing reliable and efficient service to internal and external customers
About You

Key skills and experience include:

  • Specimen processing and data entry experience
  • Favourable veterinary experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and with minimal supervision
  • Understanding of procedures and policies
  • Previous laboratory experience and knowledge of medical terminology (desirable)
  • Experience with histology processing and related techniques (advantage)
